From July 15th to 21st, we held the SummerHub of the project Youth is for (the) Solution at Divčibare. Over the course of a week, SummerHub participants gained knowledge about project creation. Together with experts, they learned how to shape their project ideas, write project proposals, and identify potential donors. Additionally, they acquired basic skills in communication, fundraising, and using innovative methods for project writing.
The project’s instructors included Zorana Milovanović, Development Manager of the Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Serbia; Dragana Đurica, Secretary-General of the European Movement in Serbia; Sofija Todorović, Director of the Youth Initiative for Human Rights and activist; and Nataša Niškanović, founder of the Association for Sustainable Development “Nitna” and co-founder of the Different Fashion Festival. During the project, youth coordinator Nenad Bušić, President of the European Movement Youth Forum in Serbia, led the program with the participants.
This project was funded by a grant from the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade.
BOLD (Balkan Youth Leaders) is a network of young leaders across Serbia (ages 18-35) who have ideas for the future and wish to contribute to their communities. BOLD leaders implement projects in their communities and support each other in achieving shared goals.
