On Saturday, June 26, the third and last online workshop titled “Digital Marketing and Branding”, intended for the 11th generation of mentors, was organized. The workshop was held as a response to the expressed needs of program participants in the development of their entrepreneurial careers, but also as a response to the increasingly demanding challenges that society and the market pose to all of us.
Thanks to the workshop participants Ana Ranitovic, co-founder of “Campster”, and Ana Vehauc, creative strategist at “New Moment New Ideas Company”, the participants of the mentoring program had the opportunity to learn what a brand is, how to conceptualize it and how to make it visible on the market.
Participants were surprised by the innovative approach of Ana Ranitovic when it comes to the somewhat forgotten “Email” as a marketing communication channel and which, if used properly, has a large range, a high degree of personalized communication and is still financially accessible to start-up entrepreneurs. Ana Ranitovic pointed out that E-mail marketing is unexplored as a new / old solution in times when everyone relies on digital marketing within social networks which is becoming more demanding, more expensive and due to the large offer, the product becomes less visible. Thanks to Ana and Campster, the continuation of the workshop was made possible through a free online workshop program, which Ana is the author of.
On the other hand, the rich international experience of Ana Vehauc and the inspiring leadership of the workshop not only prompted the workshop participants to think about what a brand really is, but also their imagination for further independent design. Participants learned from personal examples how to recognize where a brand starts and only a product ends; what are the reasons why we opt for a brand; as well as why some of the best campaigns were based more on a good idea than on an expensive and large production.
