The Annual Assembly of the European Movement in Serbia was held

Belgrade, April 24, 2025 – The regular Annual Assembly of the European Movement in Serbia (EMinS) was held on Thursday, April 24, at the Human Rights House in Belgrade, during which the Annual Report was adopted.. 

The Assembly was opened by Radomir Diklić, President of the European Movement in Serbia, who emphasized the importance of member engagement and transparent review of the organization’s work.

The Activity Report of EMinS was presented by Dragana Đurica, Secretary General, ghlighting the organization’s growth, achieved goals, initiatives, and challenges in 2024. The annual financial report was also presented, offering members insight into the organization’s resource management.

The second part of the Assembly featured presentations from the forums of the European Movement in Serbia. Professor Dr. Duško Lopandić, President of the Forum for International Relations, presented the Forum’s work and its contribution to tracking and analyzing key foreign policy developments.

Anja Krajnov, member of the Youth Forum’s Steering Board, presented the Youth Forum’s activities, highlighting the importance of intergenerational dialogue and the role of young people in the European integration process.

As part of the Annual Report, the reactivated Research Forum was also presented, having launched important analytical work on European policies, democracy, and social processes in Serbia and the region. Bringing together researchers and experts, the Forum aims to support the development of evidence-based public policies and deepen Serbia’s European integration.

EMinS is also proud of the work of its Network of Local Councils, whose representatives were active throughout the past year, implementing initiatives aimed at raising awareness about European integration, strengthening local democracy, and connecting communities with the EMinS mission. The work of the Network significantly contributed to the visibility and impact of EMinS on the local level.

Together, these reports reflect the diverse and dedicated efforts of all structures within the European Movement in Serbia, reaffirming the organization’s role as a key actor in shaping Serbia’s European future.

The Assembly served as a valuable opportunity for dialogue, reflection, and strategic planning. We thank all participants for their presence and active contribution to the work of the European Movement in Serbia.
