Invitation to Belgrade premiere of a documentary film: “7 Days that Changed the Century”

October 27, 2025

European Movement in Serbia is honored to invite you to the premiere of the documentary film “7 Days That Changed the Century”, directed by Boško Savković, our Governing Board member and co-chair of the EU-Serbia Joint Consultative Committee (JCC). This event will take place on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, from 16:00 to 19:00, at the Europe House in Belgrade (Zmaj Jovina 8).

This documentary, which had its international premiere at the European Economic and Social Committee headquarters in Brussels in September this year, sheds light on seven crucial days preceding the Great War that reshaped world history and laid the foundations of modern Europe. Through authentic archival footage and testimonies, the film reminds us of the cost of war and the value of peace, as well as of the responsibility Europe bears as a community built on reconciliation and a shared future.

The screening is organised on the occasion of Armistice Day, as a tribute to all victims of war and a reminder of the enduring duty to preserve peace, solidarity, and European unity.

After screening, a discussion with the author and guests will take place, followed by an informal gathering with refreshments.
